In Kyoto, I met with my friend Ann, who came over from London to visit me for a week. It was great to see a familiar face of my "old life" after being
on the road for nearly five months now! Kyoto is famous for its magnificent temples and gardens, and we spent two and a half days of wandering around, inter alia visit the Imperial Palace. Walking in the streets, we also realized that Japanese fashion is very different from anything I've ever seen. We saw women has decreased in boots and Hot Pants, with wool hats, with hold-up extremely low and short skirts, guys with incredible hair styles, and between businessmen and conflicts of links. What a wild crowd!
